David Cram is a programs manager at ADRA Australia and has previously lived and worked for more than 15 years in various parts of Melanesia, including the Solomon Islands, Fiji and Vanuatu. During this time he saw many farmers working their cacao plantations only to receive low prices due to a lack of knowledge and resources. David and ADRA Australia are currently working with Madre Chocolate to improve the cacao value chain and build the livelihoods of farmers in the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu.
